Great News for Troop #1012
Camp out @ Lily Lake, August 8 was a huge success.
Many rank advancements accomplished.
Issac Hatch took on the role as the Troop's Instructor.
Great Job, Issac!
Christian Mickelsen graduated from National Youth Leader Training.
Christian's new leadership role is Junior Asst. Scoutmaster
I will be watching the boys very closely for more great new annoucements of Leadership roles. These fine young men in Troop #1012 have really grown. I'm so proud of each and everyone of these Scouts. Each of them demonstrating Scout Spirit, Oath, The Law, Motto and Slogan.
Court of Honors is coming up very soon. I'm looking forward to this great evening of honors. Please make sure to check the calendar for all upcoming events.
Sincerely yours,
Sheila Anderson/Scoutmaster
Troop #1012
Troop #1012 is looking for young men between the ages 10 1/2 to 17 to join
. Baden-Powell founder of the Boy Scouts organization wrote, "Boy Scouting for boys with boy readership". Which describes the Scout method of outdoor activities aiming at developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness qualities among the boys. Many boys join the Scouting activities so that the movement grew rapidly to become the worlds largest youth organization. The Boy Scout program is designed to develop youths who have a high decree of self-reliance, initiative, courage, helpfulness, integrity, and resourcefulness. Boy Scouts should be helpful; understand their society, heritage, and culture; have respect for the rights of others; and be positive leader citizens. This is what Troop #1012 aims for! Fine young boys who grow into fine young men!
